Natural products. Vegetables and fruit

Not all the products that you see are natural. Some of them, though grown in a natural way or for the most part are an eco-product, still will not be considered natural. But what do we mean by natural products? In general, it should be noted that natural products are those that have not been processed, changed, mixed with others, and were grown in natural conditions. For example, canned corn or peas, even in composition, will not be natural, because they are exposed to boiling water; they contain salt, sugar and other preservatives. The same thing we can ask about salted cucumbers in cans that have also been processed using seasonings. Are such products natural? Probably, they are not. If we talk about their benefits, then everything becomes less obvious.

First of all, you need to eat fresh vegetables that were grown in your garden or in a greenhouse of a farmer or a gardener. Such vegetables carry a lot of useful vitamins and microelements, which are necessary for our body all year round. For example, vitamin A, which improves vision (carrots, cabbage, greens, potatoes, etc.), vitamin E (spinach, tomatoes, etc.), vitamin C (cabbage, greens, onions, etc.) and many others. Do not think that vitamins from pharmacies will replace vitamins contained in vegetables.

Speaking about fruit, it should also be noted that they should be consumed raw, directly from the garden or shelves of stores. But here it is necessary to make one reservation. Often unscrupulous sellers and farmers add pesticides and other harmful chemicals during the cultivation of a fruit, and in the future that chemicals can settle in the fruit itself, thereby the fruit becomes a potentially dangerous, officially natural product.

On the other hand, it is not possible to preserve the vegetables and fruit grown on their own plot all year long in its original form. Therefore, farmers resort to conservation. It turns out that an important factor is not only the naturalness of the source product, but also the technology of its preservation. And this must also be remembered: pickled cucumbers in a bank on a village recipe lose to fresh vegetables, but definitely will be more useful than fresh ones with pesticides.

When you choose fruit, pay attention to their color, shape, smell. So, apples are almost always covered with wax for better preservation of appearance, and also for beauty. We are not going to give up a secret, if we say that it is not worth eating such a cover. The problem is aggravated by the fact that the usual washing of fruit, including soap, does not allow to get rid of this cover. Someone recommends using soda for washing apples, but it is even better to simply peel the skin, as we do in the case of potatoes: this will help to get rid of potential harmful substances, which first of all are accumulate in the top layers of the fruit.

Try to order vegetables and fruits from trusted farmers, having familiarized themselves with their products and reviews of other buyers. A conscientious seller who values his reputation will not enjoy the confidence of his customers and will make every effort to sell natural products, vegetables and fruits. Such purchases, of course, will be more expensive, including in terms of time, than buying in the nearest supermarket. However, you should always remember that we are what we eat, and life is given to us once. Food and products that we consume should not be treated lightly, since the quality of our lives directly depends on their quality. Eat properly and be safe!
