What is homemade food? Where does this simple concept come from? And what is the difference between home-made food and everything else? Traditionally, homemade food was understood as a combination of different traditions, habits, methods and mechanisms of cooking food at home with simple kitchen furniture, simple utensils...

Like any national cuisine, home cooking is formed according to local traditions, religious preferences of the owners of the house, their food preferences and the domestic cook.

Unlike the notion of gourmet cuisine, home cooking is characterized by the simplicity of cooking and the availability of ingredients from which to prepare home-cooked meals. In addition, if the term "home cooking" is mentioned, then it is necessary to understand that table setting, dishes, appliances and the rest of the situation will not contain any excesses, but will be limited only to those items that are necessary to allay feelings of hunger.

Elite restaurants located in good places and distinguished by the refinement of the manners of the staff, detailed elaboration and captious attitude to the products which are used to prepare the dishes. In addition, in a high cuisine, the symbols have a special place, the situation, that is called, the "outer wrapper". As a rule, every expensive dish in such establishments is accompanied by a special sort of wine, which itself is also expensive and exquisite after.

Experts also refer to the high cuisine all expensive and very expensive establishments that have restaurants in their structure. These are expensive hotels and luxury residential complexes around the world.

If we consider the concept of high cuisine from a historical point of view, until the sixties of the twentieth century, only French cuisine could be considered a high cuisine, then the boundaries of this concept were washed away and now everything connected with food is very expensive and rare.

Dishes of home cooking are usually divided into the first hot dishes, which can include all the hot and liquid dishes, such as soups, and the second course; this is the so-called main dishes and various kinds of salads and sandwiches.

Home food is also interesting to us from the point of view of how people from all over the world treat it.

For example, in Ethiopia, in the local restaurants and houses people eat only with hands, without the use of any cutlery. Only in European restaurants spoons and forks are served for the convenience of visitors. In Ethiopia, the procedure of nutrition is so simplified that even semi-liquid dishes are eaten with hands, actually, with the help of a local pancake, which is used as a spoon.

In South Asia, the greatest amount of food is eaten without the use of cutlery.

Although this approach to eating home-made food historically does not characterize the peoples of Europe and North America, but it is reflected in street fast food, where there is no cutlery as well.

To summarize our article, we would like to say that at home-made cuisine all over the world at least three billion people eat with hands.

Enjoy your meal and good luck finding delicious food!
